Job Overview

Arthur G Russell Co is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for our industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for world-class quality industrial machinery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project deployment.
  • Create Bills of Material and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work closely with customers and vendors to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
  • Develop and implement automation system programs, including PLC, HMI, and robotics.
  • Ensure that all work is performed at the lowest cost consistent with quality standards, design requirements, and completion schedules.
Requirements
  • Electrical systems and codes knowledge.
  • Advanced computer knowledge and programming skills.
  • Experience with vision system programming and interface.
  • Robot system design, programming, and implementation.
  • Pneumatic systems design and implementation.
  • Overall control system hardware design, specification, and implementation.
  • Rockwell Automation PLC and motion control platforms.
  • High-level languages (Visual Basic, C#, etc.).
  • IT and OT networking.
  • SQL-based plant floor data gathering systems.
  • Industry 4.0/Smart Manufacturing principles knowledge.
  • CAD drawing experience using AutoCAD Electrical and/or Solid Works Electrical.
  • Technical writing and presentation skills.
Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. 7-10+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer is preferred. AGR may consider applicants with a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
