About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Engineering team through the transition to a sprint-based structure. Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a track record of successfully managing software development projects.
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, with experience in implementing and managing sprint cycles.
  • Solid technical foundation, with the ability to engage in discussions with DevOps Engineers and understand the technical aspects of projects.

  • Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate project challenges and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Agile tools is a plus, enabling streamlined management of Agile projects within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey project status, risks, and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvement within project management and sprint execution.
  • Ability to implement best practices in Agile/Scrum and project management to optimize team performance and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Engineering team in adopting a sprint-based approach, including planning, executing, and reviewing sprints.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure smooth sprint cycles and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with DevOps Engineers to understand project scope, technical challenges, and resource needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with customers to gather requirements, define project objectives, and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that potential obstacles are addressed before they impact project delivery.
  • Implement mitigation strategies to manage risks effectively and keep projects on track.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and transparency.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals within the sprint structure.
Educational & Certification Requirements:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM): Highly desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP): A strong plus.
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP): Preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Technical background or experience working closely with DevOps or software engineering teams is essential.
