Role Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing applications in a fast-paced LINUX and RedHat OpenShift environment using JAVA and Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Leading technical discussions and coordinating with application developers, architects, product owners, and subject matter experts to devise effective solutions for upcoming releases.
  • Collaborating with fellow API developers and team leads to create reusable RESTful and SOAP APIs that enhance functionality.
  • Implementing and supporting API security measures, authentication protocols, identity management, and performance analytics.
  • Utilizing Object-oriented Analysis and Design principles to architect tailored solutions.
  • Employing advanced KAFKA expertise to establish data integration patterns and solutions for successful product implementations.
  • Managing relational databases such as PostgreSQL, mySQL, and Oracle, alongside NOSQL databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB.
  • Working within a Cloud AWS framework to design solutions that are cloud-agnostic.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in programming languages including C, C#, Python, and Angular.
  • Creating dashboards in Splunk to visualize logs from custom applications.
  • Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Adapting to a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM environment and proactively learning new technologies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and OpenShift Containerization.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of API security and identity management solutions.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
