Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project teams, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects, including process facilities, industrial facilities, airports, educational institutions, commercial, and governmental and military facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Apply strong knowledge of electrical engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry.
- Perform electrical and communications design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
- Design electrical components for project needs and requirements.
- Research and compile project-related data as required by project managers.
- Modify and review production drawings for various projects.
- Update drawings to verify corrections are made within multiple CAD-related software.
- Determine project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Assist clients with planning facility improvements for electrical, lighting, communications, and/or controls aspects of projects.
- Compile information for client presentations and lead electrical discussion during design Charrette and client review meetings.
- Lead the electrical project team to meet designated schedule and budget and provide quality deliverables.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members.
- Successfully communicate and correspond with internal design resources and external personnel and clients.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET/ETAC-accredited program.
- Minimum 7 years related experience, preferably consulting.
- PE license in Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
