Key Responsibilities- Adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness as outlined by Pacific Palms Resort.
- Efficiently clean up to 16 guest rooms during an 8-hour shift, ensuring compliance with established cleaning protocols.
- Ensure all beds are made to perfection, with dust ruffles and duvets impeccably maintained.
- Verify that each guest room is stocked with the appropriate number of towels and amenities in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a dust-free environment in all guest rooms, ensuring that amenities are arranged professionally.
- Oversee the cleanliness of guest bathrooms, promptly reporting any maintenance or grouting issues.
- Accurately document the status of guest rooms on the room assignment sheet, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Keep the housekeeping cart and caddy organized and clean.
- Immediately report any lost and found items, ensuring they are clearly labeled with relevant information.
- Participate in deep cleaning and special projects as assigned on a daily and weekly basis.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest hallways, including vacuuming and dusting.
- Support all resort guests and staff during emergencies, ensuring a safe environment.
- Engage with guests warmly, addressing them by name whenever possible.
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings to align on tasks and responsibilities.
- Exercise care in the condition of guest rooms and hallways, avoiding damage to corners with carts.
- Assist supervisors and managers in completing checklists and special projects as needed.
- Participate in the training of new staff members.
- Adhere to all reasonable requests from management.
- Report any areas of carpet needing attention to the supervisor.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Adaptability in high-pressure situations.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic proficiency in English for receiving instructions.
