To ensure seamless food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department of the Pacific Palms Resort, we are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that all food and beverage service is served on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain, efficiently and properly executing all service standards.
- Attend to all needs of guests during functions and function-related duties, reporting any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment to the Banquet Manager.
- Follow all liquor liability laws and maintain a high level of service at all times.
- Exceed guest expectations by maintaining tables during service, ensuring all bar and bar set-ups are ready 15 minutes prior to noted event start time, and keeping count of guests served.
- Perform at a high service level at all times, working productively with other Banquet Servers and Captains to ensure guest quality and service.
- Assist in room set up and breakdown as requested, maintaining a team mentality to ensure all service standards are met.
- Must have RBS Alcohol Certification and ServSafe California Food Handler Certification.
