We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. This role requires a skilled professional to perform a variety of routine to highly complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including common and special ultrasound exams, as well as vascular ultrasound exams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including common and special ultrasound exams, and vascular ultrasound exams, using high-frequency sound waves to capture images.
- Assess, identify, and respond to patient needs for adjustment or intervention to optimize patient care, image quality, and patient experience.
- Provide direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic procedures or special ultrasound procedures, including assisting with sterile technique.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, family members, and co-workers to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive work environment.
- Three years of experience as a Ultrasound Technologist.
- RDMS-OB, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, ARRT-SON, ARRT-VS, RVS, RVT, or BLS certification.
- Ability to work independently, handle challenging/difficult diagnostic procedures and patient care situations, and demonstrate sound judgment and execute above-average clinical skills.
