Job Summary

Bauer Foundation Corp. is a leading provider of foundation solutions and services for industrial, commercial, residential, and governmental construction projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator/Estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and assist in the management of ground improvement projects, including preparing complete and accurate takeoffs, estimates, and preliminary ground improvement designs.
  • Evaluate bid specifications and drawings to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  • Develop and review supplier quotes and subcontractor bids to ensure best value.
  • Prepare project bid status reports and ensure compliance with all specifications and contract Statements of Work and Bid Invitations.
  • Prepare initial ground improvement designs for review and input from Ground Improvement Manager.
  • Present cost estimates to meet customer proposals, considering general and special conditions.
  • Prepare scope specifications and requirements, project schedules, quantity take-offs, cost summary sheets, and input quantities into estimating software.
  • Review Company jobs and compare to as-sold estimates to confirm accuracy.
  • Assist in developing project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure project completion.
  • Assist in preparing submittals and internal construction documents.
  • Conduct cost analysis and estimate expected costs for the project.
  • Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
  • Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Interact with project personnel to ensure work is performed in accordance with project design and contract documents.
  • Act as a liaison between company, clients, contractors, and vendors.
Requirements
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in ground improvement projects and construction industry.
