We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Operations Manager to join our team at Country View Golf Club. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our golf facility, ensuring that we consistently deliver exceptional customer service and exceed member and guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a clear vision for the strategic direction of our golf business, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Lead and manage a high-performing golf operations management team, providing direction, support, and coaching as needed.
- Collaborate with other senior managers to ensure that our golf business development strategy aligns with the overall corporate strategy and supports other business areas.
- Prepare and regularly review the business plan for golf operations, ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and profitability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, using this knowledge to identify new business development opportunities and improve our operations.
- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve our strategic objectives, including budgeting and financial management.
- Influence and manage the development of our organizational culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Recruit, induct, monitor, and develop members of the golf operations management team, completing regular performance reviews and providing opportunities for growth and development.
- Ensure that all members of the golf operations management team have access to training and development opportunities to enhance their performance.
- Prepare, monitor, and analyze operating budgets, taking action to address variances and ensure that each operating area is maximizing efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and implement promotional activities to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and crouch.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
- Personal and Professional development (CPD) reflective of current and/or future role responsibilities.
- Enhanced CRB check.
