About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Information Systems Specialist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the implementation and improvement of various internal applications for management and quality improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinical and operations staff to design and implement support systems that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinics, providing on-site training and technical assistance to ensure seamless adoption of Clinical Provider scheduling systems and Personnel tracking application.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and document new functionalities or enhancements to existing applications, driving business process improvements across all departments.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive guides, presentations, and trainings to internal and external stakeholders, promoting system knowledge and adoption.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to providers, empowering them to improve business processes and optimize system utilization.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data processing, computer systems, and applications. A Master's degree with relevant experience will also be considered.

Salary and Benefits
