Healthcare Liaison Specialist

As a Healthcare Liaison Specialist at PRIDE Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and establish first contact with patients, either in person or over the phone, to confirm appointments and verify insurance information.
- Update patient demographics and insurance details in our practice management system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to ensure patients' medical records are accessible for physicians.
- Process HIPAA-related paperwork and other institutional forms as required, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations.
- Collect co-pays from patients, provide receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed and assist patients with retrieving medical records.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including answering phones and entering payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.
We offer a competitive salary of $42,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Requirements:- A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using computer software and hardware, including practice management systems.
