Engineering Management Lead Position

Job Summary:

Parsons has a contingency opening for a full-time Engineering Management Lead supporting a program on a secure DOD client site. The successful candidate will provide technical support to the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage systems engineering and system of systems engineering requirements definition, analysis, architecture design, and implementation recommendations.
  • Lead or participate in working group meetings, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, Future Integrations Team (FIT) or other technical meetings.
  • Perform threat integration tasks and interface with Army Threat agencies and National Intelligence Centers.
  • Develop, use, and maintain simulations.
  • Support portfolio level systems and software process development and engineering.
  • Provide engineering expertise for test planning, execution, and post-data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Required Skills:

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain a SCI clearance.
  • Hold an advanced Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Possess five or more years of documented experience with quick reaction capability development, knowledge of engineering impacts on rapid acquisition processes, and basic knowledge of ballistics, guidance techniques, sensor theory (radar), and command and control structures for tracking aerial objects.
  • Possess demonstrated experience with observing, measuring, and collecting measurements and data from equipment operations, ballistic flights, flights of both manned and unmanned fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft, and the full set of sensors now deployed.
  • Possess demonstrated skills and experience with understanding and managing the design and implementation of software programs and analytical schemes for shaping developmental efforts for sensing, tracking, and engaging Rockets, Artillery, and Mortars.
  • Possess demonstrated technical insights into the development, deployment, and operation of integrated Systems of Systems for identifying, tracking, and engaging aerial targets.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to assertively document and follow-up on customer requests.
  • Must have hands-on knowledge in coordinating problem resolution and working across engineering functional areas.

Desired Skills:

  • Current TS/SCI.
  • Familiarity with Army battle command and control systems such as Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System, Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control, and the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System.
  • Familiarity with the Joint All Domain Command and Control system strategy and development.
