Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineering Lead to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our Electronic Systems organization, you will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in the design and development of state-of-the-art electro-mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project-level leadership to ensure successful execution of program plans and accomplishment of engineering department goals.
  • Guide teams performing research, development, and consulting assignments of a professional technical nature.
  • Implement established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency.
  • Support new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates.
Requirements
  • BSEE or BSME with 8+ years and commensurate experience leading engineering teams.
  • Solid technical leadership practices for multi-disciplinary engineering teams engaged in the design and development of state-of-the-art electro-mechanical products.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and productivity metrics to ensure efficient team performance.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
