Job Description:

Role Overview:

The Undergraduate Human Resources (HR) Solutions Intern role is designed to provide a dynamic and challenging experience for students pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field. This internship is intended to start in Summer 2025 and will provide opportunities to work on real-world projects, collaborate with innovative professionals, and develop valuable skills in HR process design, change management, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address business concerns through individual and team-oriented projects
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training opportunities and exposure to leadership through informational interviews, social events, and formal presentations
  • Work on projects that represent real challenges faced by 3M and mirror the work of our full-time team members
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Total Rewards, and/or HR Risk Management to lead projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrate high ethical standards and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, communication, and team skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Completed a minimum of sophomore year (4 semesters) by the start of the internship
