Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Naval Education and Training Command. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our personnel team, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing and maintaining personnel records, coordinating recruitment efforts, and conducting new hire orientations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct research and provide data analysis to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including management and employees, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR or a related field, preferably in a military or government setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems, including recruitment and talent management tools.
