Key Responsibilities
  • Provide chair-side assistance to dental providers during various procedures, including diagnostic, preventative, restorative, and surgical treatments.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, cost estimates, and sequencing of treatments to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Obtain vital signs, including blood pressure readings, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with training new employees and dental trainees under the supervision of the Dental Supervisor or Regional Dental Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Associate's degree in dental assisting or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of six months' work experience in a dental assistant role, with a minimum of 18 months' experience if no formal training is held.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and ongoing maintenance throughout employment.
  • Annual TB testing and current Washington State Dental Registration required.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
