Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the technical definition of assigned projects, including site layouts, equipment selection, and electrical protection schemes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in power generation systems, electrical engineering, and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall technical definition of assigned projects, including site layouts, equipment selection, and electrical protection schemes.
- Interact with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review project documents and designs to identify gaps in scope and responsibility.
- Conduct engineering reviews, site assessments, and root cause analyses.
- Create and compile initial project diagrams and documentation.
- Work with EPC partners to ensure correct translation of project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide guidance and technical support.
- B.S. degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 8-12 years of experience as a project engineer or power systems engineer.
- Experience with project management, data acquisition systems, and electrical drawings.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, and best practices for the power generation industry.
- Comprehension of low and medium voltage electrical protection functions.
- Basic understanding of automated controls and industrial network protocols.
