Outside Sales Representative – Wholesale Distribution
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team at GPAC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling a wide variety of our building products through the achievement of opportunity-based sales. The Outside Sales Representative will reach business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer and contractor sites and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure delivery of target sales.
- Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential and drive business growth.
- Analyze sales plans and trends to ensure optimal territory management and client assignment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and market trends to remain competitive.
- Establish and achieve sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in Outside Sales or direct to contractor sales in the Lumber, Building Materials, and Construction industries.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Market knowledge and experience.
- Ability to recognize customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Budget development and management skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
