Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and CT scans, to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and CT scans, to help diagnose and treat patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient care.
  • Maintain and support facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards.
  • Provide quality patient care and promote a positive patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA.
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Science.
  • Two years of previous diagnostic radiology experience in an acute care facility desirable.
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) certification.
  • Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT, RTR).
  • Post-primary CT certification within 6 months of CT assignment.
  • Current certification for BLS Healthcare Provider required as per St. David's HealthCare policy.
