Job Summary

Mass General Brigham (Enterprise Services) is seeking an experienced Application Coordinator to join our Inpatient Clinical Documentation team. As an Application Coordinator, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and supporting clinical documentation tools for multiple clinicians across various areas, including nursing (RN, PCA), and health professionals (e.g. PT, OT, SLP, RD, chaplains).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build clinical documentation tools using Epic software, including flowsheets, notes, worklist tasks, medication administration record, and reports.
  • Work closely with clinicians to determine the design and configuration that will most appropriately meet the requirements of the clinical staff.
  • Provide ongoing support of the software applications by identifying and resolving issues, and escalating as needed for timely resolution.
  • Develop and execute test plans and perform other software quality assurance tasks.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss team activities, issues, and updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of healthcare information technology experience.
  • Experience in the development, support, or operation of software applications in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
Working Conditions

This position requires a hybrid model and local travel to Mass General Brigham sites, vendors, and/or conferences. On-call coverage is expected as business needs dictate. Remote days require a stable, secure, HIPAA-compliant workstation.
