Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled School Social Worker to join our team at Mankato Area Public Schools. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to create programming and behavior intervention plans for social/emotional learning and provide day-to-day student support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social/emotional learning programs and behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teachers.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
  • Participate in student attendance teams and provide McKinney Vento assessments and connect students with appropriate resources.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to students.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of positive behavioral interventions and group and individual counseling techniques.
  • Ability to work with diverse cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Minnesota licensure as a School Social Worker is required.

  • Competitive salary range: $49,591 - $88,577.
