Key Responsibilities- Route Planning and Execution: Efficiently organize and execute delivery routes on a daily basis, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Delivery and Exchange: Deliver and exchange full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Freight Delivery: Deliver freight to customers on a weekly route, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Supervise the upkeep of delivery vehicles, including interior and exterior cleanliness.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately, returning said paperwork to the appropriate facility personnel.
- Additional Tasks: Assist in cleaning and disinfecting rental equipment, load and unload freight, and accurately fill out gas invoices.
- Qualifications: No at-fault accidents or DOT moving violations in the past 3 years, familiarity with all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen, ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of hauling hazardous material, ability to work safely around special hazards, and ability to sit for extended periods of time approximately 50% of the time.
