Job Summary

The City of Orlando seeks a highly skilled Records and Archive Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and management of active, inactive, and vital city records retention. This role involves designing records management systems, participating in the development of records retention schedules, and supervising the storage, retrieval, and destruction of records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in records management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement records management systems to ensure compliance with state and local regulations
* Collaborate with city departments to design and implement records retention schedules
* Supervise the storage, retrieval, and destruction of records, including microform, electronic, and historic records
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry and scanning of records
* Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including receipts, disbursements, and inventory
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with records management policies and procedures

Requirements

* Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field with courses in records management
* Three years of experience in record and information management, including knowledge of computer technology system implementation
* Valid Florida Driver's License
* Knowledge of document scanning procedures and microfilm standards
