Job Description:
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: As a Diesel Mechanic Technician at Performance Foodservice, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing company vehicles, including trucks and trailers. Your tasks will include performing routine inspections, major repairs on engine systems, and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review work schedules and perform safety checks on equipment
- Assist in performing regular scheduled tractor inspections and complete checklists
- Maintain required logs, records, checklists, and reports
- Perform road service trips and maintain garage tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly manner
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience and 6-12 months of interpret data requiring advanced skills knowledge equivalent to 6-12 months training in truck/automotive maintenance.
