As a Senior Accounting Specialist, we seek an individual capable of executing financial responsibilities related to account reconciliation and departmental financial planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate qualities such as meticulous attention to detail, discretion, the ability to manage multiple tasks, effective communication, and a positive demeanor towards colleagues and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the month-end financial closing activities
  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries
  • Conduct account reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, significant expense accruals, and recurring monthly expenditures
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Review and verify vendor receivables
  • Generate management reports as required
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance Director on departmental financial planning
  • Provide backup assistance to the finance and accounting team
  • Complete various tasks and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-volume environment with a focus on precision and promptness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Self-motivated with effective time and project management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Capability to achieve multiple goals and adhere to deadlines

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK SCHEDULE:
This position operates within a standard business schedule.
