We are in search of a proactive and seasoned Vice President of Finance and Accounting to join our executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The ideal candidate will possess strategic insight and a successful history of financial governance, particularly in the global technology sector. This role is crucial for steering financial strategy, managing accounting operations, mitigating risks, and collaborating with executive leadership to advance the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO to formulate and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with both immediate and long-term business goals.
  • Lead financial planning activities, including long-term modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical assessments to enhance resource allocation and profitability.
  • Oversee the maintenance of our long-term financial model in conjunction with our strategic operational plans.
  • Partner with the CEO and financial advisors to manage capital structure and financing strategies, ensuring sufficient funding for key initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with potential investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders to optimize capital acquisition efforts.
  • Direct financial operations, accounting, and reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Establish robust financial controls and processes to minimize risks and protect company assets.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Drive strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability across all divisions.
  • Supervise the Controller and Financial Planning & Analysis functions, which will report directly to this position.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a global technology organization as a finance and accounting executive, overseeing the Controller.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Prior experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and adapt to changing business priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CPA designation preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Vice President of Finance and Accounting, or a similar role, within a global technology firm.

Compensation: $180,000 - $220,000
