About the Role

As a Clinical Therapist at SAFY, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families. You will provide clinical services, including assessments, treatment planning, therapy, and discharge planning, using evidence-based interventions and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, including goals, objectives, and interventions.
  • Conduct regular assessment and evaluation of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including DCS, schools, and community providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all client interactions, including sessions, phone calls, and correspondence.

Requirements:

  • LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT preferred. We will also consider candidates who are working towards their independent licensure.
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Sociology, Child & Family Studies, or a related human services field required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children, families, or within the child welfare system preferred.
