Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality nursing care in post-acute settings
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to formulate care plans
  • Monitoring outcomes and discussing options with physicians and nursing staff
  • Administering and overseeing appropriate treatments and medications
  • Ensuring proper setup and monitoring of medical equipment
  • Educating residents and families about optimal care choices
  • Collecting blood, urine, and other samples for laboratory analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
  • Verifying accurate documentation of medical histories and interventions
  • Supervising nursing staff and providing training as necessary
  • Assisting with incident investigations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing or related role
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
