Day Kimball Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to adult patients in our innovative outpatient service.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, manage, prescribe, and evaluate therapeutic and pharmacologic interventions for adult patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct group psychotherapy sessions and provide referrals to primary care physicians or other providers as needed
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and deliver educational in-services to promote best practices in behavioral health care
- Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Specialty certification through ANCC in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Current Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance License
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health setting (new graduates considered)
