Role Summary:

Boulder Medical Center is currently seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Allergy department. This full-time position includes 32 hours per week, comprising 28 hours of patient care and 4 hours dedicated to administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough health assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and preventive screenings, while identifying health risks and needs.
  • Develop accurate physical diagnoses based on clinical evaluations.
  • Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic tests within the scope of practice.
  • Document all clinical findings in patient records promptly and ensure timely submission of charges.
  • Execute advanced technical procedures within the clinical practice scope.
  • Design and implement therapeutic plans, including medication management, while adhering to prescriptive authority regulations.
  • Establish systematic follow-up for care evaluation and modify plans as necessary, coordinating with BMC physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure adequate patient and family education for effective home management of health conditions.
  • Provide guidance to the Medical Assistant supporting the APP in the clinic.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Active, unrestricted Colorado State License with DEA licensure.
  • Board Certification is required.
  • Must meet the credentialing standards of the hospital.
Experience:
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience as an Advanced Practice Practitioner in a clinical or hospital environment.
Location:
  • Position based in Louisville, CO.
Compensation:
  • Hourly wage range of $48-53, commensurate with experience.
