Position Overview:

The Government Compliance Administrator is responsible for managing and submitting reports, ensuring timely payment of Federal Excise Taxes (FET), balancing inventories, and providing audit support. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with TTB regulations and ensuring the accuracy of processing and bottling documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental policies while maintaining TTB regulations. This includes timely submission of reports and payments related to processing operations, state taxes, and exports.
  • Prepare and submit semi-monthly FET reports accurately and promptly, ensuring they are distributed to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure the accuracy and reliability of government records and reports.
  • Assist during audits by maintaining organized and accessible documentation for TTB reviews.
  • Conduct audits or reviews in specific areas to ensure compliance with TTB standards.
  • Foster professional relationships within and outside the organization, exemplifying company values.
  • Work with management to enhance professional skills and implement a personal development plan.
  • Continuously develop a career advancement plan focusing on necessary skills for progression.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Detail-oriented with a proven track record of accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in compliance-related fields such as TTB, Customs, or auditing.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in accounting or inventory control is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to devise compliance solutions acceptable to both government agencies and company operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of government regulations.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations (FDA, US Customs).
  • Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.

Physical Requirements:

  • In-person job attendance is required.

Compensation:

Salary range: USD $65,600.00 - $82,000.00 per year.
