You will maintain compliance with food safety standards and guidelines and conduct quality assurance measures and inspections. You will also stay updated with the latest electrical technology and industry trends and suggest and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Installation and Maintenance:

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
* Ensure all electrical installations comply with local and national electrical codes.
* Troubleshooting and Repair:

* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
* Safety and Compliance:

* Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Maintain compliance with food safety standards and guidelines.
* Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections.
* Continuous Improvement:

* Stay updated with the latest electrical technology and industry trends.
* Suggest and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
* Electrician license.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and components.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with food manufacturing (USDA/FDA) regulations and standards is a plus.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods.
* Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a food manufacturing environment.
