This position is part of the UF Health team, responsible for gathering information from various sources, analyzing and summarizing it to draw conclusions and make decisions. The individual will utilize policies, existing knowledge bases, and tools available to assist in formulating recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Assimilate customer requirements and utilize standard IS methodologies to design solutions for business needs.
- Gather information from various sources to achieve the implementation and maintenance of systems.
- Comply with all relevant policies and procedures related to the use, disclosure, and security of confidential and protected information.
- Associate's Degree (AA or AS) from an accredited college/university plus one (1) year of relevant work experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a Degree.
- Bachelor's degree may be substituted for experience.
- Healthcare experience.
- EMR system experience (Epic preferred).
- Data analytics.
- Project management.
- Programming/coding.
- Technical problem solving.
- System implementation coordination.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
