As a Financial Analyst - Managed Care, you will perform a wide range of complex managed care analytical and operational functions. This includes performing office procedures in support of managers, managing financial analysis, modeling, and analyzing contract proposals, and providing system-level support for Epic contract applications.
Key Responsibilities- Model contracts to determine appropriate financial terms.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve financial calculation issues between payer and provider.
- Calculate and audit expected reimbursement to determine accuracy of payment.
- Act as a system administrator and determine appropriate payment classifications and record them accurately in the system.
- Continually seek ways and means for improving the delivery and support of Managed Care Modeling & Reimbursement System feedback.
- Work collaboratively with system users, technical staff, and other ITS groups in solving complex problems.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Two years of related managed care contracting and/or billing/collection experience in a hospital and/or managed care payor setting.
- Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement/Contracts Management Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Epic Resolute HB/PB contract build experience.
