About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deep Learning Algorithm Engineer to join our team at KLA. As a key member of our Global Products Group, you will be responsible for pioneering Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and GenAI for image processing and computer vision applications in the semiconductor process control business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with peers to develop and implement state-of-the-art Deep Learning models.
  • Derive algorithms from leading publications and conferences, and implement them using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other frameworks.
  • Design and improve Deep Learning models for specific feature requests, and optimize and fine-tune them for real-world applications.
  • Evaluate and validate the performance of Deep Learning models, and perform A/B testing between models and applications.
  • Tackle complex problems in machine learning and deep learning, and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related Quantitative Fields.
  • Academic or industrial experience in applying Deep Learning or GenAI to real-world problems, with impactful results.
  • In-depth experience in at least one area of Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, LLMs, Vision Foundation Model, GenAI, Multi-Modal Modeling, etc.
  • Proficiency in Python, and at least one additional programming language (C++, Java, Rust, Go, Swift, or Kotlin).
  • Proficiency in at least one Deep Learning framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, MXNet, Apple MLX, or equivalent).
