**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Steele Services Inc. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for performing inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems.
**Responsibilities**
* Respond to customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency or after-hours service calls.
* Use solid troubleshooting skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts.
* Complete accurate and detailed service reports in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
**Requirements**
* Available for paid, on-call duty one week a month.
* Solid technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems.
* Ability to climb ladders.
* Must have a driver's license.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* NICET certification.
* Knowledge of NFPA.
