As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead machine design projects from conception to production implementation.

  • Develop and evaluate design concepts, including materials, specifications, equipment, or machines.
  • Perform or facilitate fabrication/installation/testing related to the product, system, or process.
  • Determine the purpose, application, and feasibility of new or enhanced products or processes.
  • Create and update documentation for designs and all phases of the project.
  • Coordinate engineering efforts and provide engineering assistance to internal teams or external customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments in engineering design, methods, and applications.
  • May provide or assist with training needs related to new or existing products or processes.
  • Learn, understand, continuously improve, and promote the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of career experience.
  • Specific skills, proficiencies, and knowledge in the field related to the position, as identified by department leadership.
  • Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Proficiency with a computer, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
