We're seeking a talented Construction Professional to join our team as a Journeyman Carpenter for full-time commercial construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in various aspects of carpentry.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on high-profile projects, travel extensively throughout the U.S., and develop their skills as a seasoned tradesperson. As a Journeyman Carpenter, you'll have the chance to work on diverse commercial renovations, buildouts, and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial renovations and buildouts
- Job proposals and quotes
- BASIC computer skills
- Ability to follow OSHA requirements
- Presentable and able to communicate with customers
You'll also have the opportunity to work overtime and/or on-call as workload and emergency issues dictate. Willingness to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States is required.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experienced knowledge of carpentry, including partition framing, metal/wood studs, cabinetry/countertops installation, door/window installation, painting (interior & exterior), flooring installation, VCT/LVT/tile/carpet squares/cove base installation
- BASIC knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and data connections
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance
- Supply basic construction hand tools
- OSHA 10hr certification or completion within 3 months of employment
