Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at our office in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Image patients according to established protocols and parameters.
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions as needed.
  • Archive patient exams on our PACS system.
  • Troubleshoot minor problems with ultrasound equipment and the PACS system.
  • Stay current on new protocols, software changes, and quality assurance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Inform patients of delays or equipment repairs.
  • Assist with patient transportation and other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • ARDMS registration.
  • Completion of a course in ultrasound technology and registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Current certification as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Knowledge of equipment, testing, safety, body mechanics, and patient movement.
  • Knowledge of department computer and phone systems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
