Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a range of imaging procedures, including ultrasound exams, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Demonstrate expertise in performing surgery and portable exams, as needed.
  • Accurately follow physician orders and document the completion of exams, including patient history and lab values.
  • Qualifications:
    • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
    • ARDMS registered or willing to acquire within 6 months.
    • Current BLS certification.
