About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist with expertise in Ultrasound to join our team at Solis Mammography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment and perform mammography-related diagnostic procedures with high accuracy and precision.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and other employees to provide outstanding care and efficient results.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated instructions.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service skills and maintain a patient-first focus at all times.
Requirements
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and current certification by ARRT in Radiography.
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible.
  • Active Certification with ARDMS.
  • Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA, ARRT, and ARDMS.
  • High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred.
  • Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location.
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred.
  • Two years of experience in mammography is preferred.
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.
  • Prior quality control experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
