Job Title: Principal Strategic Sourcing Manager

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Principal Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Cloud Supply Chain organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing plans to drive cost savings, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Collaborate with engineering and business partners to determine sourcing requirements
  • Manage contracting activities with Legal to ensure contracts reflect MSFT's cross-functional engagements with suppliers
  • Identify and manage de-risking deployment challenges
  • Develop and enable new suppliers
  • Ensure supplier commitment to security, sustainability, and social responsibility
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 8+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 6+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
  • OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experiences in procurement
  • Extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience in Datacenter Switching hardware and software
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $137,600 - $267,000 per year
  • Benefits and other compensation
