Job Summary

As a Laboratory Specialist at Rochester Regional Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in providing prompt and accurate specimen analysis and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory samples for testing and operate imaging systems as needed
Communicate with departments and physicians regarding laboratory testing, results, and sample requirements
Prepare specimens and paperwork accurately for transfer and testing in other departments

Requirements

Enrolled in RGH Medical Laboratory Science Program required
Excellent reading and writing skills
Exceptional documentation and computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

Pay Range
$20.00 - $20.00 per hour
