Appeals and Grievances Manager

Purpose: To lead the appeals and grievances team in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of the appeals and grievances department, overseeing staff performance and adherence to company policies.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, driving innovation and process refinement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align team objectives with company-wide goals, ensuring seamless communication and effective teamwork across functions.
• Develop and implement management controls within the company's systems to monitor performance, productivity, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to staff, ensuring they deliver best-in-class service and meet/exceed customer expectations through regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in appeals and grievances, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and developing staff to achieve career growth and team success.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and communicate complex ideas simply.
• Strong personal accountability and commitment to fostering accountability within the team, ensuring individual and team performance meet/exceed expectations.
Benefits:
• Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
