Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized behavior intervention services to clients with behavioral challenges
  • Assist with daily program activities, including self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and behavior interventions
  • Implement and collect data on client behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirement)
  • At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
  • College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, or related field preferred
