We are currently seeking an Assembler IV to engage in a range of precise electromechanical assembly tasks on subassemblies used across six distinct instrument categories.

This position entails assembling, disassembling, repairing, connecting, and soldering wires and connectors in accordance with assembly guidelines and engineering specifications, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct general assembly on subassemblies following established assembly protocols.
  • Test subassemblies using electronic testing fixtures.
  • Perform soldering on wires, PCBs, and subassemblies.
  • Acquire and execute basic troubleshooting techniques and rework for non-conforming units.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities as they arise.
  • Achieve expected daily production targets.

  • Demonstrate conduct aligned with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Report any quality issues or defects to management to facilitate corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
  • Be prepared for modifications or assignments of duties as necessary to support business needs.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in assembling electromechanical devices and subassemblies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, including soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and heat guns.
  • IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 certification is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of workmanship standards and quality control processes, including ESD compliance.
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, contaminant-free workspace while utilizing gloves during assembly tasks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in diagnosing electromechanical failures.
  • Technical training or certification in electronics.
