Job Overview

The DAVIS Companies is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in the development and testing of precision flow measurement and control instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and test precision instrumentation and control systems
  • Collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines to enhance the performance of precision systems
  • Prototype advanced electro-mechanical packaging for precision products
  • Develop and implement new assembly processes, including documentation
  • Set up tests, collect and analyze data
  • Perform general lab organization and maintenance
  • Occasional travel to the Methuen facility
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience or associate degree
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work from drawings and written descriptions
  • Experience working with precision mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies
  • Proficiency with hand and small power tools, soldering stations, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with standard electronics testing equipment is a plus
