At Lockheed Martin Corporation, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence in the space industry. As a Spacecraft Scheduling Specialist, you'll play a critical role in planning and scheduling our spacecraft and spacecraft assemblies to meet program deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect detailed, logic-based engineering release plans and supplemental schedules in Microsoft Project in support of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Work closely with Engineers and Engineering CAMs to develop credible and executable schedules and release plans, ensuring accountability to meet commitments.
  • Collaborate with Program Planning to develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and maintain vertical and horizontal schedule traceability across the Program as part of the Demand Management process.
  • Support Engineering Planning during the proposal phase of a Program and help develop the Engineering planning Concept of Operations for the program, providing inputs for Basis of Estimates and architecting early supplemental schedules.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in planning, scheduling, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with resource loading, performing capacity management and analysis, and/or managing constraints within a Project schedule.
  • Experience working with Engineers and the engineering product/drawing release process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and ability to architect and maintain detailed supplemental schedules.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), EVM Guidelines, and DCMA Metrics.
