Job Summary

The Director of Taxation will be responsible for leading the tax function at Regal Entertainment, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations. This role will oversee the preparation and review of federal and multi-state income tax returns, as well as quarterly estimated tax payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the tax function and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of federal and multi-state income tax returns.
  • Review and prepare quarterly estimated tax payments.
  • Resolve tax notices and other miscellaneous tax controversy.
  • Prepare supporting calculations for interim and annual income tax provisions.
  • Provide tax-related information to other departments upon request.
  • Ensure internal control activities are performed in accordance with established income tax processes and procedures.
  • Assist the VP of Tax in identifying and implementing tax planning and process improvement ideas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Advanced degree with concentration in U.S. taxation preferred.
  • Licensed CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience with consolidated U.S. federal income tax returns, multi-state income tax returns, and income tax accounting (ASC 740) required.

Work Environment

The work environment is moderate, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds required.
