We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BAS Controls Technician to join our team at CORG Management Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and maintaining direct digital controls (DDC) and associated devices, as well as troubleshooting and repairing complex building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Install, program, and maintain DDC systems, including repair and troubleshooting of associated devices.
  • Energy Efficiency and Compliance: Ensure compliance with energy conservation, temperature, and building environmental policies, and modify DDC programming to streamline sub-routines and energy savings.
  • System Integration: Integrate multiple DDC control systems, including proprietary, BACNET, LONWORKS, MODBUS, and TCP/IP.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor direct digital control points and troubleshoot complex building automation systems.
  • Service and Maintenance: Provide exemplary service to BAS service clients, troubleshoot and repair HVAC and process control systems, and assist with startup, commissioning, and re-commissioning of customer systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate As-Built drawing packages, complete paperwork on time, including timesheets, expense reports, and project status reports.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certifications: AA/AS degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post-high school training with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Experience and Skills: Basic understanding of control logic, experience troubleshooting DDC systems, low voltage control systems, and computer networks, thorough knowledge of wired and wireless IP technology, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, System Networking, and Visio.
  • Personal Qualities: Personable, service-oriented, and willing to work directly with customers' on-site staff, with a valid and current Driver's License, and capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade and lifting items up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: I/NET Seveny Security System Programming, I/NET Database Designs Implementation, I/NET Database Design for MR's and ASMR's, SymmetrE C855, Honeywell Advanced Care, IPP Internetworking Professional Track, Internetworking for Workstations via LAN, WAN, Internet, and Basic HTML Programming.

Please note that a government background investigation is required for this position.

Salary: $70,000-$85,000
